Thanks for stopping by! My name is Trinity McFadden, and I’m Senior Literary Agent at The Bindery.

I’ve worked nearly my entire career in book publishing. I started as a temp editorial assistant at a family-owned publishing company in early 2008, then worked my way up to publicity manager, before securing a role as a senior publicity manager at HarperCollins, where I customized media campaigns and secured high-profile national media for our authors.

In 2020, I joined The Bindery as literary agent, and was promoted to senior agent in 2023.

I earned a BA in philosophy, English, and journalism, and then supplemented my education with a master’s degree in business administration. I lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in a 120-year-old house, with my husband, daughter, and rescue dogs.

I value excellent writing combined with fresh ideas, especially around messages of liberation. If a book can help a reader understand themselves or the world in a new or better way, I’d love to see it. I’m always seeking to promote under-represented voices with growing platforms. Being an agent, having the ability to open the door for an author to talk to publishers, is a privilege, and I take it seriously.

My specialties include compelling practical and narrative nonfiction in categories including self-help, social & culture issues, feminism, religion & spirituality, history, biography, reportage, subcultures, and mental health & wellness.
